Starting out as a simple "Gaia Storyline Comic Archive" site in November 2005, we've since grown into a larger project. Although the site has changed hosts and layouts many times, we were the first of our kind, but not the last. Other sites have since sprouted to show the same things we do, but the GCW still remains the easiest to navigate*.
Have no idea what I'm talking about?
The GCW is a partner site to a pre-existing website, Gaia Online. Gaia creates the comics, this site only archives them (In otherwords, the creator of this site has no artistic ability whatsoever). Every comic on this site you can view on Gaia Online. However, since this is an archive site, we hope you view the comics on this site, instead!

This site is entirely handcoded by myself, and for anyone viewing the source - yes I know it's done rather stupidly. I have no PHP knowledge and have been looking for a Comic CMS to host GCW with for a while. If you have a link to one that has a storyline/chapter feature that will work for Gaia's unique chapter navigation (Or are willing to teach me enough PHP to code some semblance of a CMS myself) please, please PM me.
One must always remember that the GCW is first and foremost, a fansite. This site was created before Gaia Online had come up with its newsroom. Before the newsroom was created, the only way to view the storyline comics was to simply be there when they happened, or hope a friendly user posted them all. Eventually there was a "Plot sticky" in the GCD, but even this was taken down once the Newsroom was created. This site is a resource for myself and those who simply do not like the newsroom. This site is an alternative, not a replacement. The GCW is not affiliated with Gaia Online in any way, shape, or form.
This stated, I hold no ownership over any of the images on this site. All the images on this site, with the exception of the header, are copyrighted by Gaia Online. While most of the images have been edited to match the current site's layout, I do not pretend to hold the rights to them. And should anyone be insulted, offended, or otherwise would like me to stop serving a particular image, PM me on Gaia or email me directly and I will try follow your request immediately.
Because I have put much time and effort into this site over the years, please do not direct link, or claim as your own, any images on this site. Feel free to use the edited images I have created, but host them on your own. Thank you.
